I never thought I had to face a breakdown so early in owning a new car. But in amiddle of a traffic jam my car stalled and stopped and no matter what I do it wouldn't start. I turned on my hazard lights and start waving car to go by me, there was someone who shouted "turn your hazard lights on / off" either way it did not made sense to me. After awhile I got out to push the car to the side, and this nice biker stop and help me ( I never got the chance to say thank you, he disappeared after he helped, Thank You!). Luckily I stalled in front of a petrol station so it was easy to push it away from traffic.

There were people trying to help, they were convince it was the battery. But nothing they did help, so like any daughter anywhere I called my dad for help. He brought along along afriend who luckily had jumper cable and they jumpstart my car ( how I long for my old manual car, which do not need to be jumpstarted, I could simply put it in gear and ask peole to push).

So that was my adventure yesterday. Well I hope I won't have anymore unexpected adventure today.

My life is pretty boring. I went to visit my sister at the hospital on Saturday, then I went to my favorite second-hand bookstore, bought a few books, finished it by Sunday night. Supposed to start class today, but I miss one class because I was given the timetable late, and the second class, the classroom was occupied, so I had to tell my students to come for the next class instead.

I have a horrible headache today, been having it since Saturday. I hope I'll be ok. Well we are in the process of moving office so everything is in a mess and we are not sure where to go, so I hope I don't get sick because I have to be moving about. Daddy asked me to go visit my sis, so that mean I'll be stuck in a jam for three hours. I am always hungry nowadays, so three hours of traffic jam is gonna be torture.

Well on the writing front, I couldn't put anything down. I thought my block is over but even though i have the basic storyline I don't know how to start. God give me deliverance!

I didn't have anything much to say, just that my life is moving way to slow for me. I am bored because my classes haven't started so I am just sitting around in a new office trying to make new friends. And making friends is not something I am good at because I am shy and very self-conscious. Well it is early days yet to give a solid impression on my new job. I haven't started on my story, maybe today since I have nothing better to do. I finished my lesson prep for the first week. I do not want to do more, because I need to gauge my students first before diving into their lesson.

Well I'll just try to write today.

I started my new job two days ago. I can't say much because I haven't started teaching, but my new colleagues seem nice. And it's a small world one of them knows me from my UPM days. Well it always shock me when people even from way back seem to know me and remeber my name, when it is so hard for me to place them, let alone remember their name. But wherever I go I seem to run into them and it is always embarassing for me because this people remembers me and whereas I can't even recall knowing them. But my memory has never been good and it didn't help that I keep knocking my head, I don't know how many brain cells I have knocked dead.

Well my sis is in the hospital now. She was very depressed but now in the wad she seem to have turn around, but maybe a bit to high for my liking but I think she'll be okay.

Well in the writing front I have come out with a storyline that shows a lot of promise. I'll be starting chapter one soon, I'll report the progress soon, maybe I'll give everyone a peek. I can't tell you how happy I am that the creative juices is running again. Writer's block is the pits, and I am sooooooooo glad it's finally over.

Ok got to run, get back to work.

I have a new set of wheels. After about a month of walking a taking the bus, yesterday was the happiest day of my life. Even though it's another second hand car, this one is way better that the old one, and my weak knee thank me because it is an auto.

Well now that I have a car the festive season doesn't look so bleak. I can go anywhere I want now. But because of the car I have to accept that job offer, even though it'll have me driving a long way. It'll be a one and a half hour ride each way. But i need the money to pay for my new car.

I don't think I'll be able to blog soon, so I am wishing all Muslim 'Selamat Hari Raya" .
